Voices for Peace

Since 1987, over 1,100 individuals and groups have received YMCA
Peace Medallions during YMCA Peace Week. Without any special
resources, status, wealth or position, these people have
demonstrated a commitment to peace through special contributions
made in their communities or overseas.
In this booklet, recipients of awards share their reflections,
insights and experiences about peace. Voices for Peace is a
resource for anyone interested in creating a better world. We hope
the ideas inspire you to make peace a part of your daily life.
